Inverness, located far within the northern parts of Scotland typically sees less of a crowd than other golfing areas. This is exactly why it is an ideal location of a dream getaway for all lovers of golf no matter their level of skill.
You will discover the luxury and historic grandeur of the Culloden House. This historic masterpiece of hospitality sits on 40 acres of woodlands and gardens, every inch of which you are welcome to explore while you soak in the majesty of the grounds as you enjoy mother nature’s peace and tranquility.
Your 3-day stay in Inverness will not be limited only to the Cullen House (although if it were, you would still thoroughly enjoy every second) you will get the chance to spend each day on our specially selected golf courses. We selected three great golf clubs in Inverness so you can spend one day on each course.
Royal Dornoch Golf Club
On your stay, you will get to play at the Royal Dornoch, spectacular natural links often described as a must-play for any golfer that knows the game. A visit to the Royal Dornoch is often regarded as a sort of pilgrimage for golfers and you will get to visit as one of the three great golf clubs we have planned for your stay in Inverness.
The Royal Dornoch golf club, in addition to its famous Championship course, also offers golfers another 18-hole course which can be enjoyed by the whole family and also lower handicap players.
Fortrose Golf Club

Fortrose is the 15th oldest recorded golf club in the world, established in 1793. It offers you a truly memorable and traditional Scottish links golf experience.
Fortrose is home to the golfing philosophy; ‘Oportet Vivre’ which means ‘Life is for living’ coined by a Mr. George MacKenzie of Balconie, a cousin of the Earl of Seaforth and provost of Fortrose in 1702. This philosophy is followed by millions of golfers today.
